New NCAP Channel on HistoryPin
NCAP has joined Historypin and has uploaded 10,000 aerial images to our own Historypin Channel.
The imagery features large areas of Scotland from the 1940s to the 1980s and Western Europe during the Second World War. Sharing the images on Historypin will enable NCAP to engage with new audiences by making the imagery available for use by different communities and new technologies.
Historypin is a website where anyone can upload their photographs, videos and recordings, pinning them to a particular point in place and time, with the aim of creating a communal global archive of human history. Contributions have already been made by archives in Australia, the USA, and the Netherlands.
