New batch of RAF images released

A new batch of 4,624 historical aerial photographs of places around the UK has been digitised and released and is now accessible online. The photographs were taken between 1960 and 1982 by Canberra photographic reconnaissance aircraft of the Royal Air Force.

The images in this batch feature towns, military sites and landscapes across the UK, including the cities of Glasgow and Dundee, the coastline of Northumberland, RAF bases in Yorkshire and complete cover of the Isle of Man.
