New batch of images released
A new batch of 12,000 historic Second World War aerial images has been released and is now accessible online. The imagery was copied as part of the NCAP digitisation project, which aims to make 150,000 aerial images available online by June 2013.
The imagery adds to our online galleries for Austria, France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands and Norway. It also extends our online coverage into 3 new countries: Libya, Switzerland and Thailand.
Three of the newly-uploaded sorties are examined in three new Feature articles covering Nazi concentration camps, the role of the Banff and Dallachy Strike Wings, and a sortie covering Bangkok and the Kwai bridges.
