NCAP featured on German television
The work of NCAP has been featured on Planetopia, a science programme on German television.
Following the recent discovery and disposal of an unexploded 250kg bomb in Munich, a German camera-crew visited NCAP to film in the archive and find out about our work to preserve, catalogue and digitise historical aerial imagery. The programme was aired on 10 September 2012.
The Munich bomb was dropped by a US aircraft during the Second World War and had lain undiscovered for 67 years. After a large area of the city had been evacuated, it was detonated in a controlled explosion. NCAP is a key supplier of high-resolution digital imagery to the German bomb disposal industry.
