More Channel coast aerial images released

A new batch of 4,844 aerial photographs of the south coast of England is now accessible online.

The photographs cover the entire English Channel coastline of Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Sussex and Kent. Dating from 1985 to 1998, the photographs were taken to assist the Environment Agency in coastal erosion and beach monitoring surveys.

This latest release means that over 15,000 aerial photographs of the Channel coast are now available to view on our website.
