Description: Two Landing Craft Tank are visible in this image, lying in the surf. One of them is unloading a DUKW amphibious truck. Elements of the Free French 10 Commando and 1st Battalion the Suffolk Regiment had earlier advanced eastwards along this sector, through Ouistreham, to attack a German strongpoint at the Casino.
