Our Digitisation Programme

Work continues daily to ensure more NCAP aerial imagery is made accessible online.  This work is funded by website subscriptions and partnerships, and involves extensive preservation, cataloguing and digitisation of original aerial photographs, finding aids and rolls of film.  

Our 2023-2024 digitisation programme includes:

• Over 80,000 aerial images from the US National Archives, covering locations around the world from 1940-1945
• Over 200,000 aerial images from our DOS Collection, covering locations around the world from 1947-1981
